Buildings in Eastern Europe
Visiting the Ukraine served as a testament for me never to judge a place before you visited it. Lviv/Lvov is definitely my favourite city; the buildings and streets are incredible. The city has a medieval feel and was untouched by both the Germans and Soviets despite its location near to the Polish border. Perhaps it was protected in order to preserve its charm..
